There is a park at the top of the hill with many flowering plants and shrubs inter-planted with the indigenous trees and bamboo groves. Concrete paths through the park leads to several view point spots with breathtaking vistas.

Kaeng Krachan National Park extends along the Burmese border from Petchburi Province north of Hua Hin. A bit further away, in Kanchanaburi Province, there are five more national parks, Erawan, Sai Yoke, Sri Nakarin, Khao Laem, and Chalerm Rattanakosin. To the south, Thailand’s first marine national park, Khao Sam Roi Yot, is only about 35 km away.
